The Senior Therapeutic Activities Assistant develops, implements, coordinates, and supervises recreational activities for inpatient residents. The role supports care, treatment, rehabilitation, socialization, and psychological adjustment. It also involves ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines, meeting agency standards, and obtaining necessary certifications to uphold the hospital's mission of providing high-quality care.
Education: Bachelor's degree in a related medical or educational field, or an Associate's Degree with at least two years of relevant experience in recreation, psychology, or education. Bilingual (Spanish) preferred.
Experience: Two to five years in pediatric therapeutic programs or related fields, with experience in data entry and documentation.
