Job summary

Six Flags Over Georgia is seeking an experienced security leader to oversee the safe and efficient operation of the security department within a fast-paced theme park. You will supervise and train seasonal officers, coordinate staffing, and respond to disturbances, medical calls, theft investigations, and other on-site incidents to maintain guest and employee safety.

This role emphasizes development of training programs, liaison with local authorities, and daily audits to ensure service

Qualifications

• Prior supervisory security experience in theme parks or high-volume operations.
• Ability to train seasonal officers on procedures and emergency response.
• Strong communication and leadership in fast-paced environments.
• Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Physically able to stand and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to and train all guidelines and procedures.
• Develop and conduct training programs within the department.
• Oversee physical security of Six Flags Over Georgia.
• Coordinate relationships with local, state, and federal agencies.
• Monitor security trends and determine staffing needs.
• Ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
• Serve as a Park Guest Service Ambassador.
• Conduct daily safety audits.
• Review incident reports for accuracy.
• Maintain lost & found, key control, and access programs.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Park leadership.
