Job summary

Hydraulic Technologies USA, LLC in Rockford, IL is seeking a Senior Test & Validation Engineer to lead verification, reliability, and qualification activities for high-pressure hydraulic and electro-hydraulic products.

You will establish validation strategies in the New Product Development process and provide objective evidence that products meet performance, durability, safety, regulatory, and customer requirements.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required; five+ years in product validation, reliability, or test engineering.
Experience with fluid-power systems and electro-mechanical equipment.
Ability to develop and execute structured qualification programs within a formal NPD process.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute DVP&Rs for new products, platform extensions, and major revisions.
Translate requirements into test methods, acceptance criteria, and validation schedules.
Conduct lab, field, and customer-site testing for performance, safety, and durability.
Generate qualification reports and support phase-gate decisions.
Support prototypes, pilot builds, and post-launch issue resolution.
Mentor engineers and technicians in test safety and reporting best practices.
