Job summary

A leading engineering firm located in East Moline, Illinois, is seeking a Test Engineer to develop and validate hydraulic and drive systems. The ideal candidate will have a BS in Mechanical or Agricultural Engineering and experience in product testing within agricultural or automotive sectors. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with diverse teams are a must. This position requires troubleshooting, developing test plans, and assisting with on-vehicle testing. Willingness to travel up to 10% is preferred.

Qualifications

• Previous work experience with product testing in agricultural, automotive, or heavy equipment.
• Ability to work with multifunctional, cross-cultural design teams.
• Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Develop test plans to verify and validate hydraulic and/or drive systems.
• Coordinate test stand builds with technicians.
• Document issues with performance and functionality.
• Troubleshoot and fix problems on drives and components.
• Assist with on-vehicle testing.
