Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled technician to support engineering and scientific teams with complex components, devices, and equipment.

Job Responsibilities

1. Provide technical support on complex components, devices, materials, products, processes, and equipment.
2. Work from wiring and assembly drawings, operation sheets, specifications, sketches, and running sheets of significant complexity.
3. Interpret and follow written documents such as SOPs and safety rules.
4. Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements per federal and state regulations and certifications.
5. Assist in training new team members.
6. Coordinate with other departments to ensure efficient information and material flow.
7. Perform Key Performance Indicators: meet production deadlines, maintain quality standards, manage raw material stock levels, and ensure compliance.
8. Diagnose electrical, optical, or mechanical malfunctions and perform preventative and corrective maintenance.
9. Modify electrical prototypes to correct deviations.
10. Support and promote the organization's mission, values, and culture.
11. Conduct standard testing and record results, with knowledge of industry-specific tests and equipment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Associate's degree in a technical discipline or equivalent experience.
• Strong decision-making and leadership skills.
• Experience handling small delicate components using ESD practices.
• Soldering and wire bonding experience is a plus.
• Experience with chemical handling and computer applications like Access, Excel, and LabVIEW.
• Experience with MRP systems is a plus.
• Good mechanical skills.

U.S. Citizenship is required. An active DOD security clearance or the ability to obtain one is necessary.
