We have an opening for a Senior Tech Manufacturing / Operations in our Production Facility in Goleta, California, that is involved in the packaging of IR detectors for high reliability space, military and commercial applications. You will train to become a skilled Final Test Technician in a variety of processes as assigned by management. You will be tasked with performing several different types of tests while utilizing different procedures and software. Must be able to adapt to a fast‑paced environment.
Under general supervision you will apply intermediate skills, may adapt new procedures, techniques, tools, etc. Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish assigned tasks and goals. Solves basic problems and conduct test measurements utilizing multimeter.
This is a 1st shift, onsite position in Goleta, CA.
You Must Have HS Diploma or AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
Experience working in a manufacturing/production environment.
Manufacturing Test experience.
We Prefer Experience with IR Systems, Focal Plane Assembly packaging processes.
Experience with FOD and FOD‑prevention methods.
Experience with ESD protocols.
Experience with Cryogenic gases and liquids.
Matlab, David Core, or Testlib knowledge.
HS Diploma or AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.

The salary range for this role is 47,700 USD - 90,900 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
