Job summary

RTX is seeking a Test & Validation Engineer II for the Forest, MS facility to join the Manufacturing Engineering team. You will collaborate with engineers to develop and evaluate test processes, equipment, and data tools for Antenna and Radar Products, driving testing-focused improvements in production.

The role requires STEM education with at least 2 years of related experience, strong data analysis skills, and comfort interpreting technical documents.

Responsibilities

  • Design, control, and improve the manufacturing process with a focus on testing.
  • Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to enhance yields.

  • Lead improvement projects and translate design requirements to fabrication.
  • Perform hardware defect analysis and corrective actions.
  • Participate in internal design reviews of Prime Hardware and test environments.

What You Will Do:

The Manufacturing Engineering organization is seeking a motivated Test & Validation Engineer II to support the Forest Raytheon Consolidated Manufacturing Center (CMC). As a Test & Validation Engineer II, you’ll work within production operations and the manufacturing discipline and will partner with a multi-disciplined team of engineers to develop and evaluate test processes, special test equipment, data analysis tools and test requirements for Antenna and Radar Products.   • Assisting with Designing, controlling, and improving the manufacturing process focusing on testing through collaboration with a multi-disciplined team
  • Improving yields
  • Assisting with implementing manufacturing process control and performance monitoring
  • Creating and overseeing improvement projects
  • Translating engineering design requirements into manufacturing processes
  • Performing hardware defect analysis and corrective action investigations
  • Participating in internal design review of Prime Hardware and test environment.
Qualifications You Must Have
  • Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM) and a minimum 2 years of relevant experience
  • Experience with data analysis

Qualifications We Prefer
  • Preferred major in electrical engineering/engineering technology
  • Experience in Power Supply testing (analog/power electronic component)
  • Experience/education with interpretation of technical documents
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment
  • Demonstrated ability in use of electrical test equipment (DMM, Oscilloscope, Network Analyzer, Function Generator, etc)
  • Experience in simulation and modeling of analog circuits and power electronics
  • Experience with project execution

The salary range for this role is 68,900 USD - 131,100 USD.

This job is posted as ONSITE and is located at Raytheon’s Forest, MS facility.

This position requires ability to obtain a security clearance.
