Job summary

Butler America Aerospace in Tucson, AZ seeks a Test Systems Lead to drive the Test Solutions Engineering team. You will oversee multi-disciplinary teams, manage technical execution across contracts, and partner with program leadership to meet cost, schedule, and performance targets.

Responsibilities include leading sub ELs, coordinating planning and reviews, applying EVMS and IMS tools, and delivering robust test systems from R&D through production.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a Bachelor's Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of ten (10) years' prior relevant experience OR an advanced degree and 7 years of experience.
• Experience with Earned Value Management System (EVMS) and Program management.
• Experience with Test Systems Engineering or equivalent Engineering experience for both hardware and test software development, integration, verification, validation, and maintenance activities within production, manufacturing, product qualification environments.
• EL or Program Management (PM) experience with program office, cross-functional teams, and internal/external customers.
• Experience with program management tools such as Earned Value Management System (EVMS), Integrated Master Plan (IMP), Integrated Master Schedule (IMS), and Risk and Opportunity Management.
• Experience with budget, schedule, Estimate at Complete (EAC) process, and financial performance report generation with Test Systems Engineering or equivalent Engineering programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical execution and oversee all phases of assigned projects
• Manage multidisciplinary engineering teams and align deliverables with program objectives
• Coordinate program planning, EVM activities, and proposal development
• Prepare and deliver reviews, performance updates, and customer communications
• Optimize project performance through data analysis, problem solving, and process improvements
