Job summary

RTX is seeking a Test Systems Principal Execution Lead, located onsite in Tucson, AZ, to provide leadership for large work packages and medium-scale projects with high independence. You will coordinate execution health, risk burndown, supplier readiness, baseline maintenance, and EV schedule/cost driver analysis.

You will lead cross‑functional teams across electrical, mechanical, software, and systems through the full test-system lifecycle, ensuring IMS alignment, task clarity, and timely risk

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in STEM and 10+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience supporting or leading Test Systems Development (hardware/software, integration, V&V).
• Experience with project cost and schedule management.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional engineering teams through the full test-system lifecycle (design, development, integration, sell-off).
• Manage day-to-day technical execution of work packages with clear tasks and issue escalation.
• Drive risk visibility and schedule cadence with IMS alignment and integration readiness.
• Mentor less experienced engineers and ensure entry/exit criteria are met.
