Job summary

L3Harris Technologies is seeking a Systems Engineer - Test in Salt Lake City to own the test process from concept through production. You will collaborate with Design and Systems Engineering to define procedures, perform root-cause analysis, and implement corrective actions that improve test yield.

This role requires strong communication, leadership, and the ability to mentor junior engineers while supporting product lifecycle decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree with 4+ years of relevant experience or 8+ years of experience in lieu of a degree.
• DoD security clearance eligibility (U.S. citizenship) is required.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Define, trace and maintain test process requirements.
• Create and maintain test procedures.
• Improve test yield via root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Mentor engineers and provide technical input for product life cycle.
• Support transitions from design to production and manufacturing.
• Participate in product design reviews and external technical discussions.
• Evaluate contract manufacturers and ensure test capabilities.
