BAE Systems is seeking an experienced Test Engineer for our Integrated Test Engineering (ITE). The mission of ITE is to reliably deliver customer-focused, affordable test solutions across all levels of production testing. Candidates will experience the entire lifecycle of a program, including bid and proposal, advanced development, test design, product fielding, procurement, and sustainment.

The ideal candidate is a motivated self-starter, capable of working independently with minimal oversight, and able to serve as a technical lead. They should be comfortable providing technical status updates and interfacing with various engineering disciplines. The role requires a strong background in Software, Electrical, or Computer Engineering, with experience in designing, debugging, and deploying complex automated test systems for Military Communications, Navigation, and Electronic Warfare equipment.

This role involves hybrid work, combining onsite and remote work.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

• Experience in architecting, designing, analyzing, coding, and modifying test software for analog, digital, RF, and hybrid modules at various levels using commercial and custom measurement equipment.
• Proficiency in C/C#, National Instruments TestStand, Python, and CVI environments.
• Experience in debugging test solutions and identifying product design flaws.
• Experience in developing instrument drivers, utilities, test executives, and supporting testing activities.
• Ability to develop documentation for test requirements, design, plans, and operating procedures.
• Experience with test instrumentation such as Network and Spectrum Analyzers, Signal Generators, Microwave/RF measurements.
• Knowledge of RF testing concepts like VSWR, Gain, Compression, and Phase Noise.
• Experience in hardware debugging, including test adapters and interface modules.
• Motivated, communicative, team-oriented, with a positive attitude.

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

• Experience with factory production test stands, problem resolution, and RF test measurements for production.
• Familiarity with boundary scan tools and FPGA programming and debugging.

Pay Information

Salary range: $92,290 - $156,860. Salaries depend on various factors including skills, education, experience, and market conditions.
