Job summary

NVIDIA is hiring a Test Infrastructure Engineer to join the Test Solutions Group in Santa Clara, CA. You will build the test infrastructure for manufacturing test at contract manufacturers, provisioning test compute and storage, and automating configurations.

You will work with CM ops and IT to ensure secure, scalable, and reliable environments, implement logging and monitoring, and drive actions to reduce risk in high-volume manufacturing tests. Equity and benefits accompany the role.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in infrastructure/ systems/ test engineering or related roles.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Strong Linux administration skills.
• Experience with servers, storage, networking, remote-management controllers, and hardware labs.
• Automation/configuration tools such as Python, Bash, Ansible, Terraform, CI/CD, or equivalents.
• Experience with logging, monitoring, alerting, incident response, and root-cause analysis.
• Ability to work independently across distributed teams and with CM/IT partners.
• Clear written communication and strong operational rigor.

Responsibilities

• Build and operate the CM test infrastructure service stack: compute, storage, tester provisioning, configuration, automation scripts, DHCP, logs, and file transfers.
• Establish standards for tester images, baselines, inventory, naming, access, patching, and lifecycle management.
• Automate tester provisioning, configuration, recovery, health checks, and log collection using IaC and config management tools.
• Develop runbooks, monitoring dashboards, alerts, and incident procedures for each service.
• Collaborate with CM site operations on deployment, break/fix, remote access, rack-and-stack, power, and replacements.
• Work with IT to ensure identity/access, network, DNS, patching, backup, and hardware standards.
• Identify risks and drive corrective actions before affecting throughput.
