Job summary

Peraton is seeking a Test and Evaluation Systems Engineer to support SITEC 3 EOM at MacD AFB in Florida. You will perform tier three testing, develop plans and scripts, analyze results, and collaborate with development teams to verify interoperability and drive performance improvements.

The role requires DoD IT program experience, MECM and PowerShell expertise, strong analytic and writing skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, mission-focused environment.

Qualifications

• 12+ years with HS Diploma, 10+ years with AS/AA, 8+ with BS/BA, 6+ with MS/MA or 3+ with PhD
• Active DoD TS/SCI clearance
• 3+ years of DoD enterprise IT program experience
• Advanced MECM and PowerShell scripting
• Strong AD, Trellix, MDE, RHEL, ACAS, STIGs, IAVA knowledge
• ITIL familiarity and strong testing experience
• Proven software/hardware integration testing ability
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Effective communication and technical writing
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Analyze software/hardware test results and performance data
• Design, develop, and implement testing methods for IT infrastructure
• Create test plans, scripts, and scenarios for various testing types
• Evaluate products and systems and provide improvements
• Collaborate with dev and requirements teams to test applications
• Verify compliance with specifications and requirements
• Monitor and improve testing processes via analysis
• Provide MECM and PowerShell expertise to the team
• Participate in design reviews and system tests
• Generate assessments and implement network/system improvements
• Assist with troubleshooting and problem resolution
• Maintain currency with NIST standards
• Translate data/results into evaluative conclusions
