You will build, fix, calibrate, and maintain test equipment, with opportunities to learn from engineers and expand your skills. The role emphasizes hands-on fabrication, equipment calibration, and the ability to train others on proper use, while ensuring safety standards and compliance with regulations.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in technical or engineering field preferred.
• 5 years’ hands-on electronics test equipment experience preferred.
• Ability to fabricate test equipment and cabling.
• Perform routine maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting on test equipment.
• Ability to troubleshoot equipment issues and develop effective solutions.
• General operational knowledge of electronic test equipment and environmental systems.
• Understand basic analog circuitry and read electrical schematics and assembly drawings.
• Clear communication of technical information to engineers and team members.
• Proficient with MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• IPC J-STD-001 and IPC A-610 certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate test equipment, fixtures, and cabling.
• Provide routine maintenance and calibration of test equipment.
• Provide training for other staff on proper use of test equipment.
• Alternate work schedule supporting weekends.
• Repair or replace faulty components to minimize downtime.
• Collaborate with engineers and quality control to improve testing processes.
• Execute manual and automated tests and document results.
• Ensure test equipment and procedures meet safety standards.
