Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace is seeking a Test Equipment Maintenance Technician II to troubleshoot, repair, and optimize production test equipment at the Deer Valley, Phoenix site. You will work with engineering and production teams to improve reliability, reduce downtime, and support continuous improvement initiatives.

The role requires a hands-on electronics technician with strong schematics interpretation and diagnostic skills, reporting to the Facilities Maintenance Supervisor in a day shift,

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience maintaining production test equipment, electronic equipment, or manufacturing systems in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of electronic test equipment, circuit board troubleshooting, electrical systems, and production testing processes.
  • Experience troubleshooting electrical and electronic systems at the component, assembly, and wiring levels.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.
  • Experience using diagnostic equipment such as digital multimeters, oscilloscopes, and other electronic test instruments.

Responsibilities

  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production test equipment and related systems.
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical and electronic systems, including circuit boards, wiring, connectors, relays, sensors, and power supplies.
  • Diagnose equipment failures using electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, technical documentation, and electronic test equipment.
  • Utilize diagnostic tools such as digital multimeters, oscilloscopes, and power supplies to identify and resolve equipment issues.
  • Analyze equipment performance and recommend improvements to enhance reliability, efficiency, and uptime.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance activities, repairs, equipment performance, and modifications.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams on equipment upgrades, process improvements, and corrective actions.
  • Train team members on proper equipment operation, maintenance procedures, and applicable safety practices.
  • Support equipment installations, validations, and production line improvements as required.
  • Ensure compliance with company safety, quality, and manufacturing standards.
