Job summary

Vertiv Group Corporation in Delaware, OH, is seeking a Senior Test Engineer to drive test strategy and execution for Single Phase UPS products. You will validate firmware, hardware, and system integration, ensuring traceability from requirements to test results and enabling successful product launches.

You will lead test planning, develop automation, and coordinate compliance activities with UL/EMI/IEC standards, while collaborating with global teams to ensure quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Electrical/Electronic Engineering.
• 6–9 years of test engineering in product-based environments.
• Extensive testing experience in firmware, hardware and system for UPS products.
• Experience in developing and advocating test strategy and test platforms.
• Hands-on knowledge of AC/DC embedded electrical systems and power electronics.

Responsibilities

• Review requirements, develop test scenarios and cases for hardware-software integration and document test reports.
• Generate overall engineering test plan and its execution.
• Develop and support Compliance Test plans (UL, CE, EMI/EMC, etc.).
• Drive test automation using AI/advanced tools.
• Manage lab equipment CapEx and testing schedules.
• Lead root-cause analysis to improve future test plans.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to improve engineering deliverables.
• Assist in achieving product certification per applicable standards.
