Job summary

GCyber is seeking a Senior Test Engineer to support a DoD IT modernization program in Washington, DC. You will verify secure digital capabilities across ServiceNow and connected systems, emphasizing automation and built-in quality within an Agile framework.

You will analyze requirements, design test strategies, develop automated tests, and coordinate testing across teams while collaborating with cybersecurity, DevSecOps, and customer stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or related field required.
• 8–12 years of relevant experience.
• Active TS/SCI security clearance required.
• DoD 8570/8140 IAT II certification or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyze requirements, designs, interfaces, and user stories to ensure capabilities are complete and testable.
• Define test strategies, plans, procedures, data, acceptance criteria, and expected results for ServiceNow and integrated systems.
• Develop automated tests using ServiceNow ATF and other approved tools.
• Execute functional, integration, regression, end-to-end, and user acceptance testing.
• Document results, defects, risks, and configuration changes in Jira and maintain traceability.
• Lead testing for assigned capabilities or releases and coordinate across components.
• Review test cases and mentor testers; improve automation and regression coverage.
