Job summary

DSA Inc. is seeking a qualified Test Engineer for a remote position. You will join DSA's test team sustaining the GTIMS Program, designing and implementing manual and automated tests, analyzing results, and coordinating with architects and engineers.

The role requires active DoD Secret clearance, 4+ years in software/test engineering or 2+ years dev + 2+ years automated testing, and experience with Agile processes and SQL. Weekend/night shifts possible <5% time.

Qualifications

• Active DoD Secret clearance required.
• 4+ years software/test engineering experience or 2+ years development + 2+ years automated testing.
• Experience with formal testing methods and tools.
• Experience configuring performance tests (environments and load).
• Familiarity with Agile development processes (sprints, planning, estimation, prioritization, scoping, demos).
• Familiarity with SQL for test data validation.
• Experience with a modern ticket management system.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Active Security+ Certification.

Responsibilities

• Designing and implementing manual and automated tests, including data staging.
• Reviewing and analyzing test results.
• Identifying and documenting defects/bugs to team standard.
• Communicating issues with the architect, software engineers and support team.
• Assisting in other phases of the development lifecycle including local software deployment for testing.
• Providing customer demonstrations during Government Acceptance Testing events.
• Must be detail oriented and work well with a remote team.
• Other duties as assigned.
