Job summary

RIVA Solutions, Inc. is hiring a Senior Test Engineer to design and implement test strategies and automation for the P-TACTS program in a remote setting. You will build automation, integrate tests into CI/CD, and conduct security, performance, and compliance testing across web applications.

You will work with developers, security teams, and product owners to define test requirements and drive best practices through the SDLC. Experience with Java, Selenium, Postman, and GitLab is highly valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/SE or related field.
• Experience designing and implementing code-based automation tools.
• SDLC knowledge and QA best practices.
• Hands-on BDD using Cucumber and Gherkin.
• Proven QA/Test Engineer in Agile environments.
• Proficiency in Java scripting; building automation frameworks.
• QA automation with Selenium/WebDriver and Postman.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain test plans, strategies, and cases for the P‑TACTS DevSecOps environment.
• Design, build, and integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (GitLab).
• Perform security testing including code analysis and vulnerability scanning.
• Conduct performance, load, and stress testing to ensure scalability.
• Monitor system performance and identify optimization opportunities.
• Manage test environments mirroring production for accuracy.
• Collaborate with developers, security, and operations to integrate testing.
• Produce test reports, track defects, and coordinate resolutions.
• Enhance API testing frameworks and perform UI testing of web apps.
• Document test processes and quality metrics using Rally and GitLab.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies to ensure coverage and balance.
