Collins Aerospace is seeking an experienced Senior Test Engineer to support production test systems and software across manufacturing operations. You will troubleshoot complex issues, perform root-cause investigations, and implement corrective actions while owning test-system sustainment and cybersecurity requirements.

The role is onsite at the Santa Isabel, Puerto Rico location, with up to 25% travel to other U.S. locations.

Qualifications

• Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience.
• Exp with LabVIEW, TestStand, PLCs, instrumentation, ESS, ATP, or functional test systems.
• Strong English and Spanish communication (verbal and written).
• U.S. citizenship is required for access to information.

Responsabilités

• Independently troubleshoot production test equipment, instrumentation, software, and system-level issues.
• Perform root-cause investigations and implement corrective actions for recurring and production-impacting test issues.
• Own sustainment of assigned test systems: configuration control, documentation, backups, upgrades, and cybersecurity.
• Analyze test-system performance, downtime, and failures to identify reliability/improvement opportunities.
• Support equipment modernization, software/OS upgrades, hardware replacements, and obsolescence mitigation.
• Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, Quality, IT/OT to resolve complex production issues.
• Communicate risks and recovery plans to cross-functional stakeholders.
• Mentor less experienced engineers and provide technical guidance.
• Travel up to 25% to other locations for onsite support.
