Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Sr. Engineering Tech to join a high-performing Test Engineering team responsible for developing and supporting military and commercial networked control systems. The role covers concept through integration, test, and support across naval and ground-based platforms.

Candidates should have DoD clearance eligibility, strong electronics/EDM experience, and hands-on testing proficiency. Relocation not offered; competitive benefits and growth opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD clearance.
Experience using MS Office tools.
2 years System Level troubleshooting experience.
Test Procedure development experience.
Clear communication skills to explain and present technical issues, document findings, and provide guidance.
Experience meeting deadlines and maintaining quality work and documentation.

Responsibilities

Own, maintain, configure, and troubleshoot Engineering Development Models (EDM) in an engineering lab that supports fielded and next generation monitoring and controls systems.
Sustain partnership with customer
Develop subject matter expertise on complex large scale networked test environments.
Use SME skills to increase EDM availability time by pro-actively updating and resolving test beds with the customer.
Broaden use of EDM technology to support obsolescence verification platform development.
Develop and modify test plans and procedures.
Support system integration and test activities.
