Job summary

Stryker Corporation in Cary, IL is seeking a Test Engineering professional to design, develop, and validate medical products, leading test systems and mentoring junior staff. This hybrid role requires in-office presence three days a week and offers a salary range of $85,500 to $142,500 with about 10% travel.

You will develop test plans, fixtures, data acquisition, and analyze results to ensure safety, efficacy, and regulatory compliance while advancing testing capabilities across the product

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in test engineering or related area.
• Experience with test plans and fixtures is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develop, execute, and own test plans in collaboration with quality, design, and test engineering.
• Design and refine mechanical, electrical, and virtual test fixtures.
• Leverage lab capabilities and data acquisition systems for testing.
• Lead development of test systems and fixtures for product development and validation.
• Analyze data, investigate failures, and perform root-cause analyses.
• Provide mentorship to junior staff, technicians, and contractors.
• Evaluate and maintain actuation systems, sensors, and testing technologies.
• Act as internal SME on test methods, standards, and reliability tools.
