Job summary

Teledyne Micropac is seeking a Test Engineer III to develop and maintain automated test equipment and software for power management and hybrid microelectronic products. You will work with engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams to improve yields and resolve complex test issues in an on-site manufacturing setting.

The ideal candidate has strong LabVIEW programming skills, hands-on experience with automated test equipment, and a track record of supporting production environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering or related technical discipline required.
• 6+ years of experience in test engineering or related field required.
• Experience with NI LabVIEW required.
• Experience with automated test equipment and instrumentation required.
• Experience troubleshooting test systems and software required.
• Experience supporting manufacturing test operations in production required.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, validate, and document automated test software and hardware for characterization and production testing.
• Troubleshoot and resolve test software, hardware, fixtures, and instrumentation issues.
• Collaborate with Product Engineering, Manufacturing, and Quality to investigate yield losses and performance issues.
• Analyze test data and support root cause investigations for product and process failures.
• Participate in corrective and preventive actions and cost-reduction initiatives.
