Job summary

S5 Analytics, LLC seeks a Test Engineer to support the development, integration, and validation of mission-critical software for DoD and IC customers. You will create test strategies, execute validation, and work with systems engineers and developers to deliver reliable, high-performing solutions in an Agile setting.

The role emphasizes solving technical challenges, improving testing processes, and contributing to cloud-based mission systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience supporting software integration, system testing, or verification and validation activities.
• Ability to develop detailed test procedures, test cases, and supporting documentation.
• Experience with modern software engineering methodologies and systems engineering principles.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, procedures, and validation activities across the software lifecycle.
• Collaborate with systems engineers, software developers, and technical leadership to verify functionality and requirements.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning and reviews.
• Support integration, verification, validation, and acceptance testing for mission software applications.
• Analyze test results, identify defects, and work with teams to resolve issues.
• Contribute to test process improvement and automation strategies.
