Job summary

Dover Fueling Solutions (DFS) is seeking a Software Engineer in Test to design, develop, and execute automated and manual tests with a strong customer focus. You will work across Agile teams to ensure high-quality software and contribute to test strategy and coverage.

This role emphasizes automation, cross-functional collaboration, and maintaining robust test environments, with opportunities to influence testing practices and leverage modern tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science or equivalent.
• 3-5 years of experience in software testing.
• Nice to have knowledge of cloud platforms such as Azure, IoT technologies.
• Knowledge on Payments, POS preferable.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language (preferably C#).
• Hands-on experience in test automation along with strong API automation testing experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test cases and scripts.
• Author, maintain, and execute manual test scripts as required.
• Generate test and defect reports and communicate to stakeholders.
• Log, track, and manage defects using Jira or equivalent tools.
• Set up and maintain test environments; ensure requirements traceability.
• Participate actively in Agile ceremonies and cross-functional collaboration.
• Support development, testing, UAT, and production environments.
