Job summary

Matcha seeks a senior automation tester to lead testing across hybrid environments supporting Navy readiness and analytics systems. You will develop automated scripts using Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright and design CI/CD–aware test frameworks integrated with Jenkins, GitLab CI, or AWS CodePipeline.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS, information systems, engineering, or related field.
• Minimum five years in automated testing and validation of enterprise apps.
• Proven experience in test scripting, framework maintenance, and CI/CD integration.
• Strong knowledge of DevSecOps, agile testing, and test data management.
• Familiar with RMF and DoD cybersecurity requirements.
• Experience with Git, Jira, and Confluence.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, Python, or Java testing frameworks.
• DoD 8570 IAT II+ and Security+ certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute automated test scripts for complex web apps.
• Design and manage CI/CD–integrated test frameworks.
• Align testing with Agile acceptance criteria and RTVM.
• Collaborate with Systems Engineers, Developers, and Cybersecurity staff.
• Develop performance, security, and regression test scenarios.
• Document and maintain test cases, results, and metrics.
• Analyze results, troubleshoot failures, and perform root cause analysis.
• Support defect tracking and retesting in Jira.
• Maintain test environments mirroring production and support onboarding.
• Participate in IPTs, sprint planning, and stakeholder demos.
• May support Navy Learning Stack RCDC tasks.
