Job summary

HM Electronics, located in Carlsbad, CA, is seeking a Test Engineer IV to provide production support and drive test program development for ATE/ICT systems. The role requires 8+ years of engineering experience and a BS in Engineering, with MS preferred.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of engineering experience.
• BS in Engineering required; MS preferred.
• Strong understanding of analog and digital circuits.
• Proficiency in both low- and high-level programming languages.
• Experience applying statistical analysis to improve process control.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing tools.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Designs, Develops and documents ATE and ICT (HP/Keysight 3070).
• Develops/Debugs ATE and ICT software programs.
• Develops new state of the art test fixturing and test programming methods.
• Monitors pilot production activities.
• Generates test procedures and test data sheets.
• Performs all other job responsibilities as assigned.
