Google is seeking a Test Engineer to automate testing at scale, break and improve software, and shape product quality across a massive codebase. You will write scripts, build testing tools, and enable developers to test their code effectively.

The AI and Infrastructure team powers breakthroughs for Google Cloud, data centers, and global services, delivering scalable, reliable AI models and infrastructure. Competitive compensation includes equity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of coding and testing experience, including test plans, cases, and debugging.
• Experience with failure analysis techniques and tools.
• Experience in embedded systems.
• Experience in test automation.

Responsibilities

• Lead automation tooling to improve product and engineering health.
• Develop and review test plans with engineers and stakeholders.
• Define test framework, preconditions and reporting to enable testing.
• Improve test infrastructure to increase efficiency in test case development and deployment.
• Collaborate in product design reviews to improve testability.
