Job summary

Jabil in Florence, KY is seeking a Principal Product Test Engineer for Advanced Compute to drive technical direction of NPIs and testing programs. You will collaborate with customers and suppliers, mentor engineers, and maintain test infrastructure to ensure world-class performance and reliability across server and storage platforms.

Role emphasizes leadership in test architecture, customer engagement, and continuous learning within a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering, or related engineering discipline required.
• 5–8 years of software manufacturing test development/sustaining with enterprise server/storage/networking products preferred.
• Experience leading NPIs and manufacturing programs in a cross-functional environment is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead customer and Jabil operations teams to resolve complex product, process, and material issues using structured analytical approaches.
• Collaborate with site operations and test leadership to drive root cause investigations and improve FPY, throughput, and repair yield.
• Serve as the primary technical interface for customer product introductions and manufacturing performance across server/storage platforms.
• Develop and maintain technical knowledge bases and mentor test leads to sustain operational excellence.
