Job summary

Jamf is seeking a versatile Test Automation Engineer to lead delivery of complex initiatives and advance AI-powered testing. You will design and build automation frameworks, integrate with CI/CD, and drive adoption across teams.

You will work with Java, Spring Boot, Serenity, Cucumber, Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, and AI-enabled tooling in a hybrid role based in Brno with sponsorship options for Czech residents or those able to work there.

Qualifications

• Min. 5 years of experience developing software with an understanding of testing and quality assurance processes with good understanding of programming languages.
• Ability to lead delivery of technical initiatives and help other teams to onboard new technology.
• Hands-on AI fluency; uses AI coding assistants and agents in daily work, and builds AI-driven tooling.
• Experience with test automation frameworks like Serenity, Cucumber, Pact, Cypress or Playwright.
• Experience with CI/CD tools and processes.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies including Docker.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex projects from ideation to delivery and prioritize effectively.
• Design, develop and maintain test automation frameworks and related microservices.
• Develop and maintain testing stages in CI/CD pipelines in GitHub Workflows and Argo Workflows.
• Build AI-powered testing tools to measure test suite effectiveness and surface gaps in code.

Your responsibilities will includedesigning, developing, andleading delivery of complexinitiativestheteamworkon.Your typical work will start in ClaudeCodeand you will work withPython orJava forbuilding servicesneeded forrunning automated or reporting resultsorenhancing CI/CD pipelinesbuilt withArgoWorkflows.

Anotherimportantpart of your role will beshaping test automation strategyand roadmap ofTAteamand driving its adoptionwhich is significantly changing with AI speed of development. This will includeworking with engineers across tobuild tools productteamsneeds as well as working with stakeholders.

We are seeking a versatile and proactive person who bridges software development with test automation and can lead delivery of complex initiatives.

You will work with some of the following technologies daily and others occasionally: Java, Spring Boot, Serenity, Cucumber, Selenium, REST Assured,Testcontainers, TypeScript, Python, Redis, Cypress, Playwright, Appium, Docker, k8s, Jenkins, Bash, Groovy, GitHub Workflows,ArgoWorkflows, MCP. Mostly viaAI coding.

What you can expect to do in this role:

• Lead complex projects from ideation to delivery as well as holding prioritization discussions.

• Design, develop andmaintaintest automation frameworksand related microservices– Serenity/Cucumber for Java tests, Pact for contract tests andsome others.

• Developing andmaintainingtesting stages in CI/CD in GitHubWorkflows and/orArgoWorkflow.

• Build AI-powered testing tools — for example, tooling that measures how effective a test suite really is and surfaces where itfails tocatch broken code.

What we are looking for:

• Min. 5 years of experience developing software with an understanding of testing and quality assurance processeswithgoodunderstandingofprogramming languages.

• Ability to lead delivery of technical initiatives and help other teams to onboardnew technology.

• Hands-on AI fluency. You use AI coding assistants and agents in your dailywork,you have a calibrated view of what they are good and bad at, and you want to build AI-driven tooling, not just consume it.

• Experience with test automation frameworks like Serenity, Cucumber, Pact,Cypressor Playwright.

• Experience with CI/CD tools and processes.

• Familiarity with containerization technologies including Docker.
