Job summary

Nationwide Technology seeks a Senior Engineer, Software Engineer (Test Automation Developer) to drive quality across enterprise digital portal initiatives. Hybrid schedule in Columbus, Ohio, with 2 days in the office weekly.

You will build scalable automation frameworks using Playwright, collaborate with engineers and product owners, and enable fast, reliable software delivery through CI/CD integrations.

Qualifications

• Education: Undergraduate studies in computer science or related field.
• Experience: Two or more years of software engineering or related technology experience.
• Knowledge, Abilities and Skills: Proficiency in Java, C++, Python, or JavaScript; understanding SDLC; strong collaboration and problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Build and enhance automated testing frameworks using Playwright (required) and maintain existing Cypress-based automation.
• Collaborate with software engineers and product owner throughout the development lifecycle to ensure quality.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve test failures; improve test stability and reliability.
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous testing and rapid feedback.
• Design, develop, maintain, and execute automated test solutions for web applications, APIs, and microservices.
