We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Test Automation Engineer - Playwright to join our Quality Engineering team supporting a leading financial technology client. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in test automation, web application testing, and quality engineering practices, with deep expertise in Playwright and TypeScript. This role requires a strong automation background, hands-on experience building scalable test frameworks, API testing knowledge, and the ability to drive quality across complex enterprise applications within Agile environments. The successful candidate will play a key role in improving software quality, accelerating delivery, and supporting continuous testing initiatives through modern automation and AI-assisted testing practices.

As a Senior Test Automation Engineer - Playwright, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust automated testing solutions for web and integrated enterprise applications. You will collaborate closely with developers, product teams, and quality engineers to ensure high-quality software delivery through comprehensive automation strategies, API validation, end-to-end testing, and continuous integration practices. This role offers the opportunity to work with modern testing technologies, scalable automation frameworks, CI/CD pipelines, and Generative AI tools while contributing to the overall quality engineering transformation of the organization.

The annual salary for this position is between $53,000 - $92,500 depending on the experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
