We are looking for an experienced Senior Test Automation Engineer who will join a project for our client in the healthcare industry.

What you will do:

• Convert manual test cases from the test management system into automated end-to-end tests for iOS and Android applications, following established automation framework standards.
• Drive the strategy for increasing automated test coverage to reduce manual regression testing efforts across the mobile application ecosystem.
• Identify and prioritize test cases with the highest automation value, ensuring automated coverage remains aligned with the evolving manual test suite.
• Maintain a reliable and trustworthy automation suite by investigating test failures, identifying flaky tests, reproducing defects, and providing detailed bug reports.
• Extend and improve shared automation framework components to support new test scenarios and increase overall test coverage.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to define acceptance criteria and improve application testability.
• Integrate, maintain, and optimize automated tests within CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions to support frequent and reliable releases.
• Advocate for quality and ensure applications meet the highest standards of reliability, safety, and user experience.
• Work closely with QA engineers and developers to promote best practices and foster a strong culture of quality.

What are we looking for:

• 6-9 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance, including at least 3 years of hands‑on mobile test automation experience.
• Strong experience with mobile automation tools and frameworks, including Appium, Espresso, UIAutomator2, XCUITest, TestNG, and JUnit.
• Experience with test management and collaboration tools including JIRA, Confluence, and TestRail, as well as version control systems such as GitHub.
• Exposure to backend and API testing using tools such as Postman, JMeter, Charles Proxy, or similar solutions.
• Solid understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies.
• Strong communication skills with professional working proficiency in English.
• Experience using AI-powered tools to accelerate test automation while maintaining high standards of quality, reliability, and user safety.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Nice to have:

• Familiarity with security, privacy, or medical device regulations such as HIPAA or GDPR.
• Experience working in startup or high‑growth product environments.
• Relevant certifications such as ISTQB, CASTP, or similar.
• Working knowledge of SQL and experience with database validation.
• Experience working within SAFe Agile environments.
