Job summary

Gormat is seeking a Test Automation Engineer to join our team in Maryland. You will design and maintain CI/CD pipelines, develop automated testing frameworks, and collaborate with developers and cybersecurity specialists to support USCYBERCOM mission systems.

The role emphasizes testing reliability, security, and performance of mission-critical software, along with creating technical docs and deploying scalable infrastructure across dev/test/ops environments.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI w/Poly.
• Bachelor's degree in related discipline.
• 10+ years of experience with large-scale CI/CD infrastructure.
• Experience supporting integration, deployment, and validation of software in multi-environment pipelines.
• Experience using cloud virtualization platforms like vSphere or ARIA.
• Experience developing automated testing frameworks (Robot Framework, Pytest, GoogleTest).
• Experience with scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell).
• Experience utilizing Podman/Docker.
• Strong written and verbal communication for technical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines and DevOps infrastructure supporting USCYBERCOM mission systems and cyber operations platforms.
• Develop, integrate, and optimize automated testing frameworks and validation pipelines for reliability, security, and performance.
• Support lifecycle management by building, deploying, and sustaining scalable infrastructure across dev/test/ops environments.
• Evaluate emerging DevOps tools and containerization technologies for integration into mission environments.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation including system architecture diagrams, test plans, and workflows.
• Collaborate with software developers, cybersecurity analysts, and mission stakeholders to translate requirements into testable solutions.
