Job summary

Dexian, a leading technology staffing firm, seeks a highly motivated Software Engineer in Test to design and develop automation frameworks and internal utilities for high-quality application delivery. The role requires over 10 years in Software Quality Engineering, strong Java and TypeScript skills, and deep experience with Selenium, Playwright, and Karate.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline or equivalent experience.
• Over 10 years of experience in Software Quality Engineering roles.
• Proven programming skills in Java and TypeScript.
• Experience with continuous integration practices and automated deployment tools such as Jenkins.
• Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks like Selenium, Karate, and Playwright.
• Strong understanding of Agile practices and ability to suggest improvements.
• Excellent technical acumen and engineering mindset.
• Ability to adapt to new environments and learn in-house developed tools and practices.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to project design phases to ensure engineering solutions are automatable.
• Identify suitable automation frameworks and develop automation tests.
• Actively participate in all Agile ceremonies, including daily standups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
• Work collaboratively with engineering and business teams to define acceptance criteria for stories.
• Analyze and report test results, track project progress, and assess product release readiness.
• Support the organization's Quality Engineering best practices.
• Communicate effectively across globally dispersed teams and across organizational levels.
• Demonstrate an Agile mindset through actions and behaviors.
