Job summary

Randstad USA is seeking a Senior SDET Automation Engineer in the Washington, DC area to lead design and scaling of enterprise-grade test automation across web, mobile, and API environments. You will champion shift-left quality, integrate automated suites into CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure, and collaborate with DevOps, SRE, and development teams.

The role demands 10+ years of automation experience, strong Java-based tools, mobile testing on Android/iOS, API validation, and familiarity

Qualifications

• 10+ years in software test automation and QA.
• Strong Java-based tooling experience.
• Experience with mobile automation across Android and iOS.
• API testing and database validation experience.
• Familiarity with ADA/Section 508 accessibility and PCI testing.
• Experience integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Framework Development & Architecture: Design, build, and optimize scalable, modular test frameworks for web, mobile, and API testing.
• Test Strategy & Execution: Create comprehensive test plans and execute across multiple streams.
• CI/CD & Cloud Integration: Embed automated suites into CI/CD and cloud infra for continuous delivery.
• Defect & Quality Governance: Track issues in Jira and build dashboards for real-time visibility.
• Cross-Team Collaboration & Shift-Left Advocacy: Partner with DevOps and squads to enforce QA standards.
