Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services in Addison, Texas, is seeking an experienced QA/Test Lead to develop detailed test cases from requirements, lead test planning, ensure acceptance criteria, and guide a Scrum team through testing and quality gates.

You will implement test automation opportunities, design manual and automated tests, maintain test suites, and help with data and environment preparation, reporting defects with context, and tracing tests through the lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Experience creating detailed, structured test cases from functional, non-functional and compliance requirements.
• Ability to design and develop manual and automated test plans within an application.
• Experience leading test planning and reviews in Scrum/Agile environments.
• Understanding of data manipulation, SQL queries and data privacy considerations.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test cases based on requirements.
• Lead test planning and ensure acceptance criteria are well defined.
• Implement test framework and automation opportunities for applicable tests.
• Develop and execute manual and automated tests, log defects with context, and assist with triage and resolution.
• Maintain and catalog test suites across Smoke, Integration, and Regression tests.
