Job summary

Agile Resources, Inc. is seeking a QA Tester to ensure high-quality releases for web and mobile applications. The role focuses on manual testing, API checks, and SQL-driven test data, partnered with product and engineering teams to validate readiness for production.

You will own test plans, execute diverse testing types, investigate defects with logs and screenshots, and drive release readiness in a hybrid remote environment in Chattanooga, TN.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on QA experience with manual functional, regression, exploratory and integration testing.
• Experience testing mobile apps and validating defects across releases.
• Strong API testing experience validating services, responses and integrations.
• 2+ years in web-based testing with test plans and detailed cases.
• Proficient in SQL Server/SQL for test data setup and validation.
• Experience in Agile teams and SDLC, with defect investigation skills.
• Ability to troubleshoot environments independently.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain structured test plans, scenarios and test cases for web and mobile apps.
• Execute manual functional, regression, exploratory and integration testing; document results.
• Validate mobile app functionality across releases and devices.
• Perform API testing to verify web services behavior and end-to-end flows.
• Investigate, reproduce and document defects with actionable steps and logs.
• Use SQL queries to prepare test data and verify outcomes.
• Troubleshoot environments by reviewing logs and deployments to identify root causes.
• Collaborate in Agile ceremonies to clarify acceptance criteria and readiness.
• Prioritize test coverage by risk and communicate blockers clearly.
