Job summary

Apex Systems is seeking a Senior Test Analyst to support a large-scale pension administration system for a California public-sector client.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience leading User Acceptance Testing efforts, developing test plans and test cases, managing defects, and supporting software implementation projects within complex enterprise environments.

Responsibilities

• Manage defect lifecycle and reporting
• Support release and regression testing activities
• Collaborate with business and technical teams
• Maintain traceability between requirements and testing artifacts
• Participate in risk-based testing and quality reviews

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years as a Test Analyst
• 7+ years producing requirements and testing deliverables
• 3+ years with ALM tools such as Jama or HP ALM
• Experience supporting enterprise software implementations
• Strong written and verbal communication

Preferred Qualifications

• State or Federal government experience
• Pension or retirement systems experience
• Bachelor's Degree
