Job summary

Owens Corning is seeking a Sr. Area Sales Manager – Technical Insulation Air Distribution to drive profitable growth across a defined territory.

You will develop strategies, build distributor and contractor partnerships, and deliver customer-focused solutions through cross-functional collaboration and data-driven insights. Oppor tunities include leading territory plans, expanding market share, and influencing stocking decisions while maintaining pricing discipline.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with 3–5 years in sales/account management.
• Proven success closing opportunities across the full sales cycle.
• Experience developing territory or customer strategies to drive growth.
• Ability to manage multiple relationships in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Willingness to travel within territory (40–50%).

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a territory strategy by assessing market dynamics, competitive positioning, and key customer segments.
• Build and expand distribution partnerships by understanding purchasing behavior and creating growth plans.
• Drive contractor demand by communicating Owens Corning’s value proposition and aligning stocking with customer needs.
• Achieve volume growth while maintaining pricing discipline through value-based selling.
• Establish and maintain a consistent operating rhythm, including pipeline management and prioritization of opportunities.
• Leverage cross-functional resources to deliver customer solutions and accelerate share growth.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities by evaluating market gaps and underserved segments.
• Build strong relationships with distributor and contractor partners and provide responsive support.
