Job summary

Next Gen IT, Inc. is seeking a senior Terraform & GCP engineer to design, build, and govern scalable infrastructure patterns. The role emphasizes enterprise Terraform modules, state management, and automation across multi-cloud environments.

The ideal candidate has over 5 years in Terraform Enterprise and GCP, with API programming experience and CI/CD integration. Hybrid work in Phoenix, onsite rotation, and strong security practices are required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on Terraform Enterprise experience.
• 5+ years of Google Cloud Platform experience.
• Strong expertise developing and maintaining reusable Terraform modules.
• Experience managing Terraform workspaces, state files, pipelines, and automated deployments.
• Ability to build scalable and governed cloud platforms using Infrastructure as Code.
• Strong knowledge of core GCP services and architecture.
• API programming with Python, Java, Go, or similar languages.
• Experience integrating APIs with cloud-native services, automation workflows, infrastructure provisioning, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Proficiency with API authentication and security mechanisms.

Responsibilities

Primary skills and Experience.
