IBM Software in Raleigh is seeking a Senior Developer for Terraform in CPE to design and build automation for cloud operations on AWS EKS.

You will develop IaC with Terraform, Vault for secrets, and build self-healing systems, mentoring engineers and driving on-call improvements.

This role emphasizes on-time migrations of Nomad workloads to AWS EKS with no customer disruption, achieving 99.95% SLA and reliable platform availability.

Competenze

• 6+ years designing, building and operating automation for cloud infra.
• Deep expertise deploying Kubernetes on AWS EKS.
• Terraform IaC experience to optimize multi-region architectures.
• Go or Python development for end-to-end automation tools.
• Experience in monitoring, disaster recovery and uptime SLA 99.95%.

Mansioni

• Design automation solutions for container orchestration (AWS EKS), Vault, and deployments.
• Build automated cellular infrastructure models for enterprise customers.
• Improve automation strategies; implement self-healing alert loops and auto-recovery.
• Migrate legacy Nomad workloads to AWS EKS with zero customer interruption.
• Lead on-call rotation, author RFCs, and mentor engineers to improve availability.
