Job summary

Ergon Asphalt Partners in Inman, SC is seeking a dedicated Terminal Operator II to join a tight-knit team responsible for operating our asphalt binder terminal. You will work closely with Operator I to develop skills and ensure safe, efficient production of high-quality asphalt products.

The role requires good organizational and problem-solving abilities, the ability to work outdoors in varying weather, and a willingness to learn new skills.

Qualifications

• General computer skills and PC knowledge.
• Basic mechanical skills.
• High school diploma/GED.
• Stable work history.

Responsibilities

• Able to adhere to all Safety requirements and procedures.
• Work independently or as a team member to support operations.
• Able to perform all Terminal Operator I functions proficiently.
• Transfer products between tanks.
• Operate a steam boiler.
• Able to align valves and operate pumps.
• Able to do blending functions.
• Able to perform general maintenance and minor repairs on machinery and equipment.
• Able to perform Quality Control testing using DSR and Brookfield equipment where applicable.
• Other duties as required by Terminal Manager.
