Job summary

Heidelberg Materials North America in Ohio is seeking a plant operator to support safe, efficient production. You will operate ball mill circuits and slag dryers, move materials with front-end loaders, and monitor quality while following strict safety standards.

Training is provided for testing and troubleshooting, with some overtime as needed. A strong focus on safety, reliability, and teamwork will help the facility meet production goals.

Responsibilities

• Commitment to safety and compliance standards.
• Operate a ball mill circuit and slag dryer to process materials efficiently while maintaining production and quality standards.
• Operate heavy equipment, including front-end loaders, to move materials throughout the plant.
• Collect material samples, perform basic quality control testing, and make process adjustments as needed to ensure product quality.
• Assist with routine plant maintenance and perform basic mechanical troubleshooting to support safe and reliable operations.
