Job summary

Bank of America is seeking a senior Teradata DBA with 10+ years of experience, including Teradata V17.20 or higher, to support enterprise data warehouse systems. The role involves designing, deploying, and maintaining Teradata environments, ensuring security, performance, and reliability across development, UAT, and production tiers.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, participate in on-call rotations, and mentor junior staff while driving automated DBA processes and disaster

Qualifications

• 10+ years experience as a Teradata DBA including Teradata V17.20 or higher.
• Advanced working knowledge of Teradata RDBMS at both physical and logical levels.
• Advanced working knowledge of Teradata tools: Teradata Studio, TDWM, BTEQ, ARCMAIN, FASTLOAD, MLOAD, TPUMP, TPT, DBQL, PDCR.
• Working knowledge of Mainframe interfaces and execution; TDP, JCL, TSO, ISPF, FICON, NDM.
• Working knowledge of Viewpoint, Teradata Data Mover, Teradata BAR technology.
• Working knowledge of Unix/Linux scripting (KSH, BASH, PERL).

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day activities for the Teradata DBA team and delegate work.
• Supervise work processes and provide leadership to sub teams.
• Maintain on-call and support schedules and communicate status to management.
• Collaborate with project teams to implement database changes for large initiatives.
• Ensure alerts, monitoring and dashboards are established for new projects and BAU work.
