Job summary

Nexans in Oslo is seeking a Senior Purchaser – Tender & Projects to manage purchasing packages for ongoing tenders and projects, and to provide costing input to the tendering teams, ensuring timely, compliant deliveries. You will join a six‑person cross‑functional team with colleagues in Norway, France and the UK, working in English.

A Master’s degree in Engineering, Business or Supply Chain with relevant experience is expected; Norwegian or French language skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Engineering, Business or Supply Chain and some years of relevant experience.
• Proactive, eager to learn and improve, and comfortable taking responsibility.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Comfortable working in English (our working language), knowledge of Norwegian and/or French is an advantage

Responsibilities

• Take responsibility for various purchasing packages to support ongoing projects.
• Provide costing and procurement input to Nexans' Tendering Teams.
• Assist in evaluating supplier and subcontractor offers and negotiations.
• Ensure compliance with Nexans' purchasing procedures and quality standards.
• Support cross-functional collaboration across disciplines and sites
