Job summary

Regions Bank is seeking a Software Engineer to oversee application development, maintenance, and reporting within the Technology department. The role focuses on scalable solutions, system performance, and collaboration withTemenos specialists and the Regions Data team to map data and improve processes.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree in CS/CE and 7+ years of related experience, with on-site work at the Riverchase Operations Center in Hoover, AL.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field
• 7+ years of experience
• Experience with Temenos T24 / Transact and Temenos products (TEP/TDH) preferred

Responsibilities

• Oversees development and installation of new hardware and software
• Provides advice to management on processes and techniques for improved operations
• Installs and configures systems and other software
• Tests installed software for malfunction detection
• Identifies and resolves business systems issues
• Designs and deploys new applications and enhancements
• Monitors and tests system performance
• Oversees training of junior engineers
• Ensures compliance with risk management and cybersecurity practices
• May act as a procedural expert
