Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; reception/secretarial experience acceptable.
• Training in business or financial industry curriculum preferred.
• Knowledge of bank operations, products, services, policies and regulations.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Intermediate computer skills: terminal, PC, word processing, spreadsheets.
• Exceptional verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Receive retail and commercial deposits and issue receipts.
• Cashes checks, withdrawals, and processes cash advances with proper documentation.
• Assist with night depository duties and vault duties.
• Balance vault currency and coin; maintain cash drawer accuracy.
• Process account activity on PCs and resolve issues within authority.
• Cross-sell bank products and refer customers to staff for new services.
• Handle security procedures and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Record, file, and process reports and mail as required.
