Job summary

Advanced IT Concepts, LLC is seeking a Telecommunications/Electronics Technician III for immediate, project-based work on government requirements at CONUS and OCONUS sites. The role supports complex IT cabling installations, with mentorship to junior technicians and strict adherence to safety procedures.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of IT cabling experience, a DoD Secret Clearance, and a BICSI INST1 or higher certification.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of verifiable IT component and cabling installation experience.
• Active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
• BICSI installer level 1 or higher certification is required or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Execute advanced IT de-installations and installations of IT racks, components, and cabling.
• Lead and participate in complex IT cabling installation tasks per project specs.
• Troubleshoot and resolve cabling and connectivity issues independently.
• Mentor junior technicians and ensure high-quality workmanship.
• Serve as working lead for small installation teams and coordinate work segments.
• Follow safety protocols and site procedures, including working at heights.
• Communicate progress and requirements to the project lead and document activities.
• Maintain documentation and project records.
