Alamon, Inc. in Irving, TX seeks a Telecommunication Technician Level 4 for its Network Services department. The role involves installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of telecom equipment across central offices, MSOs, and data centers, with extensive travel expected.

You will work with equipment from Adtran, Cisco, Ciena, Infinera and others, ensuring compliance with industry standards and providing documentation for each job. A safety-aware, self-motivated candidate is required.

Competenze

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Willingness to travel locally, statewide, or regionally as required.
• Must pass background check and drug test.

Mansioni

• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot telecommunication equipment and systems.
• Provide central office installation services and adhere to required standards.
• Write GMOP / DMOP and process related paperwork within EJP.
• Read and interpret floor plans, rack drawings, and customer work orders.
• Install relay racking, cable racking, fiber ducting and framing.
• Install copper and fiber cables with appropriate connectors.
• Perform lacing, stitching, and sewing; install DC power components.
• Collaborate with engineers, technicians, and customers; verify connectivity.
• Maintain records of equipment, configurations, and maintenance activities.
